voiceover by jim broadbent?
Everyone is smoking.
I think you missed the point of the video.
@@scottloftin1730 Don't care about the point just made an observation that everyone was using tobacco.
Heck I run 10 miles to town and back for beer for fun at times on my 1950 to 20
I run a 1950 to 20 the US model still
I have one made in 1952 - 81 years ago it’s still working
We had a 1953 Jubilee demonstrater. It was only made for the 1953 model year but some people seem to think it was made in other years but it wasnt.
Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten...
I have a golden jubilee, got it from a neighbor that had it sitting for almost 40 yrs, put gas in it and a good battery and it started right up and I drove it home, has a loader bucket on it.. I also recently got a ford 651 workmaster..
and went to a Blue color to get away from the Farmall Red. love these old ads.
What grade chain is that? I'm thinking about doing the exact same thing but worried about using the cheap grade 30 chain from harbor freight
The Force theme❤️❤️
my good Massey Ferguson 135 with 35 horspour #1
They're strong little buggers, and relatively simple to fix. I've seen some very sick ones, and they still run - if only just. Rebuilt 3 about 10 years ago, and all parts are still available. Not necessarily cheap, but given that they have a useful life of 30+ years, the genuine parts are worth the money.
Love this video!
My family have two. Best tractors ever made. God bless Massey Ferguson. Love and respect from Greece.
How could anyone not love the Fergie TE20 series Tractors!! It was Revolutionary & it's a Testament that they are Still used Daily all over the World in 2022! No Vehicle can Compare! 70yr Old Cars are Rarely being Driven, Perhaps to a Classic Car Show, that's about it! Fergie's are still Tilling Paddocks & Slashing Paddocks all Hard Yakka Stuff! Not Show & Shine like a 70yr Old Car! 🙏God Bless Harry Ferguson! His Name is Immortalized Forever Remembered by Every TE20 Operator untill the End of Time!! Amen!🚜👍
Back when things were made to last, not the disposable garbage produced today.🤔
I like how these old adverts does not assume the audience are idiots.
My Fordson from '53 too benzin/gas engine.
I thought New Holland made implements for use with ford tractors. The former Ford Tractors are now made by New Holland.
I did see in Wikipedia that Ford used to have a subsidiary where they sold farm implements called Dearborn Motors. They handled the Ford tractors and the implementation to be used with them.
Some people might not want to see work
Some cars are not so easy to get into or out of.
13:37 shows a tractor with headlights.
Its get up and go, got up and went. 🤭
Ferguson tractors have the same 3 point hitch for plows and similar implements. Call it the Ferguson System.
Yep I have a Ferguson 35 it’s basically the same tractor
Ja imam kopiju MF IMT 533 1978 godina i nebi ga prodao ni za što. Pozdrav iz Hrvatske.
My dad had a 1953 golden jubilee I can only say it was one great machine it planted many crops for many years we also used it to gather corn in the fall for our hogs my dad would hook it to a trailer he made from a pickup truck bed we walked behind the trailer gathering the corn and throwing it into the trailer when we got it full we hauled it to the barn and scooped it into a small corn crib at the front of the barn I sure miss those days.
Levitt Town a slum lords dream.
Who came up with that stupid name.
My dream .....my ambition to buy this machine...... 💞I can't express my thoughts towards this beauty.....MF is always lives in every farmer heart....my father is farmer but unfortunately our family try many time to buy but due to financial problems can't afford 🙏🙏🙏...i will buy this 💞💞💞 beauty near future very soon ....TNX MF to serve this unbelievable machine 💞💞💞
i owned 2 the only drawback was for me they needed a reduction gear box , witch a few had
My grandpa george Neff bought his new in 53. Used his alot. When our family had his sale it was stolen and never found.
Harry Ferguson was Henry Fords little bitch.....Ford 8n is king!!
And Henry Ford was Adolf's little bitch.
This was the era when most people were happy and content
Marvelous stories of this Tractor that I really enjoyed looking at when I was a boy, and still today I wish I could find one to restore and play with. ( I don't think I shall ever 'graduate' from playing with tractors and machinery in general :) Thanks for presenting this great video.
Reynard is not Happy with killing just one.i think it was 1979 he hung around and killed twelve of my chickens.it was at Valentine's day but fortunately it had been snowing so I tracked him down... after that day he hung from a post by my gate..
I have tea 20 1952 made in England ' now I done totally restore ' and paint job ' now look brand new
On our NH farm we had a similar model, the 1954 Allis-Chalmers CA. The CA had a similar hydraulic system that was very handy for many implements. That hand-clutch was extremely useful to keep the PTO engaged while stopping the forward motion. Also, you could mount idler wheels for a half-track to plow snow without spinning the wheels.
Wonderful video
When quality and pride in manufacturing meant something. God bless Harry Ferguson.
ENOUGH SAID 😉
The 1953 was the golden jubilee, the 1954 was just referred to as the jubilee.
I just purchased a 1954 Golden Jubilee with front end loader and rear blade. I plan to restore it and any helpful information would be greatly appreciated. It runs great but the rear hydraulic pump is slow and the cylinders and pump for the front end loader are leaking oil and will have to be rebuilt. I'm looking for resource material that will guide me in that process. Thanks, in advance, for any helpful advice.
Our '54 is all original even the Vane pump is still there although I have to rebuild it, works very slow.
